TCL Packaging has achieved a successful BRC audit at its new production facility, despite only being in the new premises for a few weeks.
The certification, which is site specific, has been made after TCL moved its entire production capability from Hortonwood, six miles across Telford in July to its much larger, state-of-the-art facility at Stafford Park 6, Telford.
The company was awarded a top A rating by Lloyds register for the food safety systems and processes at Stafford Park. The certification will continue to provide TCL customers with confidence in the standardisation of quality, safety and operations at the new site.
BRC certification provides maximum reassurance for food processors, converters and end users that TCL films are printed and processed to meet their strict conditions and provide maximum food safety protection for the end consumer.
